The target DLL that causes the performance degradation in Windows 8.1 and newer is winmm.dll. ![]() Note that saying our libraries boost performance by a little doesn't necessarily mean our code is better, it just might mean that we're not offering all of the functionality that Windows' versions do. wimm.dll, looks like a combination of our code and Wine code. ![]() That and you'd need to disable driver signing checks on Windows to even try loading them. ![]() wdmaud are drivers so those technically are ours, but drivers tend to be OS version specific, and ours are geared towards NT5.2, so whether it would even work on newer versions of Windows is an open question.
